Volunteering in the AAFC

We are currently seeking help with the following items
|
|
Refreshment Aides
|
This position will report to the Refreshment Coordinator and will be responsible for attending scheduled posts at the refreshment stand. This requires 1 hour per week.
Volunteer Incentive for this position is $5 off your children’s registration for the following season.
|
|
Field Care
|
This position will report to the League Commissioner and be responsible for lawn care, line-painting (each Thurs), field equipment (goals, etc.). This requires 1 hour per week.

Fundraiser Aides
|
This position will report to the fundraiser chairperson with any tasks related to fundraising. Assist to Run, track, follow-up, and help to report in the board results and give suggestions on fundraising ideas
This requires 1 – 2 hours per week.

Sponsorship Aides
|
This position will report to the sponsorship chairperson with any tasks related to maintaining current sponsorships or gaining new sponsors. This requires 1 – 2 hours per week.

|
Score Keeper
|
This position is responsible for creating score sheets for each game, collecting score sheets, and reporting the results via the website. The person responsible for this position will then submit game results to the local papers once all game results are entered into the via the website. This requires 1 hour per week.

Playground Parent
|
This position involved one or two coaches or parents to stand post at the playground while AAFC has games or events at the Ephrata Community Church. This will enable parents to feel at ease about sending their child to the playground. If a coach cannot make it to their schedule post they are responsible for finding a parent from their team to replace. This requires 1 hour per week.

General Volunteer
|
This person would be flexible and willing to help out in any situation. This requires 1 – 2 hours each week.

Please understand, we will not ask anyone to do anything that they aren't comfortable doing. You will be properly trained before you attempt anything, and then the person that trained you will help you until you are ready. We of AAFC want to thank all the volunteers in advance for your help. The few that we have at this point also have families to take care of. We appreciate your help.
